Taping
Kinesiology tape is a thin, stretchy, breathable cotton strip used to support muscles and joints, reduce swelling, and alleviate pain without restricting motion. Often worn for 3–5 days, it lifts the skin to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage. It is ideal for athletic injuries, sports support, and muscle recovery. No extra time needs to be booked for this service.

Frequently Asked Questions

My massage is 60min. Will I be on the table for 60min?
What to expect during your treatment: During the initial consultation, we take a collaborative approach to create a treatment plan that suits your unique needs. By prioritising open communication, clients are actively involved in their path to improved health and wellbeing. The assessment takes normally 5–10 minutes, leaving plenty of time for hands-on treatment tailored to maximise recovery and function.
Do you offer Private Health Fund rebates?
Yes, Freedom Seeker Massage Therapies is recognised by all major health funds for remedial massage (relaxation treatments are not supported by health funds). At the time of your appointment, the full fee is due. You will be issued an invoice and can then claim rebates with your health fund. Please check your health fund directly regarding any claims and how high your rebate will be. This depends on your level of cover. Freedom Seeker Massage Therapies does not make direct claims to health funds.
How can massage help me?
Massage has many health benefits. Here are some examples: - Increase in blood circulation, mobility, flexibility and mood - Relieve back, shoulder, neck and other pain - Speed up recovery from injury and treat muscle cramps - Promote better sleep and overall health - Reduce anxiety, stress and symptoms of depression - Supports the immune system
What can and can't a Remedial Massage Therapist do?
A diploma qualified remedial massage therapist assesses the musculoskeletal system and uses massage techniques to reduce pain, tension, and stress while improving mobility, relaxation, and recovery. We work to enhance overall well-being but do not diagnose, prescribe, or perform medical procedures. Therapists practise safely, ethically, and refer to other health professionals when needed.
How do I pay my booking?
Your booking fee is due at the time of your appointment. PayID or direct bank transfer are the preferred options. Other payment options can be discussed.
What is your cancellation policy?
As a small business, we truly appreciate clients honouring their appointments. Your consideration helps minimise lost income and allows us to offer appointment times to others who may be waiting for care. A cancellation of a minimum of 24 hours is much appreciated.
What is cupping?
Myofascial cupping differs from traditional cupping in that skin marking is usually minimal, and the technique is often combined with gentle joint mobilisation. This method uses negative pressure to gently 'lift and separate' fascia and soft tissue, enhancing circulation and promoting the flow of nutrient-rich blood to the area. By reducing fascial adhesions, myofascial cupping supports improved range of motion, functional movement, and overall soft tissue health.
